Around Lochaber

Lochaber is an area of western Scotland bordered in the north by Loch Hourn and Glengarry, to the East of the Monoliaths and Loch Laggan to the South by Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and the West by the sea. The Inner Hebrides are also part of Lochaber, and can be reached by boat from Mallaig.

Fort William is the main centre from where you can reach all other areas quite easily. Most of the rugged and spectacular scenery is in the less accessible parts of the area, which is where our taxi service can help.

Sporting Activities

Fort William is famous for its beautiful views from its Golf Course.

Vertical Descents is situated in the Highlands of Scotland, they are a modern outdoor adventure activity centre offering a wide range of exhilarating activities including Canyoning, White Water Rafting, Fun Yakking, Bridge Swing, Paintball and Mountain Biking.

Fort William has many attractions for all the family. We have the Nevis Centre which sports all kinds of family entertainment including bowling and regular advertised functions.

Take a trip on the Jacobite Steam Train over the Glenfinnan Viaduct which was used in the Harry Potter films whilst visiting Glenfinnan a trip to the Glenfinnan Visitor Centre

Why not take a tour around the famous Ben Nevis Distillery and visitor centreand enjoy the sampling of Higland whiskys!

If you are looking slightly further afield, take a look at Glencoe Visitor Centre which is newly built in the Village of Glencoe.

Famous Filmed Locations!

Why not visit Glen Nevis, Famous for it's natural beauty where Braveheart and Rob Roy were filmed, or you could take a ride on the Cable Car at Nevis Range and have lunch in the mountain restaurant.

Why not have a drive out to Neptune's Staircase on the Caledonian Canal and continue on to Achnacarry to the Clan Cameron Museum and back by the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge.

Alternatively you could enjoy a Cruise on Loch Shiel or a cruise with Crannog Cruises on Loch Linnhe.
